Sussex Recruitment requires an experienced bookkeeper to support their client based near Hastings.
Reporting to the Financial Controller your main responsibilities will be as follows:
Sales and purchase ledger transaction processing.
Regular account and bank reconciliations.
Job costing data entry and analysis.
Credit cards coding and posting.
Processing and paying staff expenses.
Keeping staff holiday records.
Processing petty cash transactions.
Assisting Marketing Manager with marketing campaign analysis and reports using excel.
Key requirements:
Minimum three years’ bookkeeping/accounts experience.
Excellent attention to detail with strong IT skills.
Previous accounts package experience, knowledge of Sage 50 is an advantage.
Proficient in the use of excel for reporting and analysis.
Knowledge of pivot tables and lookups would be advantageous but not essential.
Due to the location of our client your own transport will be necessary.
Hours 8.30am – 5pm, Mon – Friday.
